Heka: The Boundary Between Two Worlds

About

Heka: The Boundary Between Two Worlds is a story-driven 2D isometric role-playing game set inside ancient Egyptian mythology and politics. Twelve to fifteen hours, five acts; from the Nile Delta to the twelve gates of the Duat, then out to the Horizon of Eternity. You can cross between the world of the living and the world of the dead, but it costs Ba energy. Your place between Ma'at and Isfet isn't a good-evil counter — it's a spectrum. You can lose companions permanently, hieroglyph combinations open doors that would otherwise stay shut, and all four endings are written with the same care.
